What is Docker?: Docker is a service that helps developers and sysadmins to create application containers, which are a lightweight virtualized environment in which applications run. When you run an application in a container, you don't have to worry about managing individual hardware components, which means less time spent on configuration. You can also run multiple applications in a container without having to install multiple copies of the application on the same computer.
