Nodejs
Nodejs overview
- What is Nodejs?
- Node.js is a platform built on Chrome's JavaScript runtime for easily building fast, scalable network applications. Node.js applications are often called "server-side" applications because they run on a server. They are often used for back-end processing and to provide web application features like user authentication, data storage, and API access. Node.js applications run as ideal single-threaded programs, and are often deployed on Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows operating systems. Node.js runs inside the Chrome browser, which means that it has access to many of Chrome's built-in APIs. This makes it easy to include the functionality of the DOM, the file system, networking, and the web browser into JavaScript programs.<
